Techsys are specialist in the deployment of highly configurable Email, Email Gateway Servers and Apache website servers. Server deployment usually available for Traders, SOHO, family run businesses and medium sized businesses. Each Email server is custom built constructed and tailored to individual clients needs, whilst remaining highly affordable, scalable, adaptable and reliable.
We build custom servers that operate as Email Servers providing both access from standard clients such as that of Thunderbird, Evolution, Outlook and Outlook Express and in addition Webmail which can be access on the Internet from anywhere world wide and more importantly from any Internet connect computer. The software system supports many feature among them the email anti-virus.
Prices start from a very reasonable £500 this is our basic model and consists of a modest but powerful Pentium 4 PC consisting of only one hard drive, so has no in built OS (Operating System) or Hardware Data redundancy, our premium servers on the other hand are much better equipped (please call or email for details and current prices). Such equipment is installed on your own Internet network and can be modified to any new internet service provider at short notice provided your network is supplied with "Wide Area Network (WAN) Static IP addresses",

Techsys use a modest but powerful Pentium 4 PC each with a minimum of 512mb of Ram memory and 80Gb Hard disk (note.. price does not include a Monitor, but one can be provided at an additional charge). The server itself is installed with the Mitel Linux Operating system and is free of License fees, however we do recommend that you make a donation to this company to ensure further product development of this excellent system software.
The Mitel system boast some impressive features as standard including browser based user and administration interface. It uses secure SPOP3 (Secure Post Office Protocol 3) and SSMTP (Secure Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) for delivery to internal and external client mail programs such as Outlook and Thunderbird. A Webmail system is also integrated which allows remote access to the server to one or more user accounts. These features can be extended to include such things as integrated calendar, integrated tasklist, mailman and social bookmarks to name but a few.
With two network cards in the server the system can be so configured to route all incoming Internet traffic filtering only the wanted ports before reaching any of the client computers. It is also equipped to use the Real Time Blacklist used by most service providers to filter junk email. There is a definite trade of with regard to email blacklists, as whilst they reduce or eliminate unwanted email spam it can also block the wanted mail from getting through.
What do you pay for? You pay for the purchase of a second hand PC and the configuration thereof along with a tailored user reference manual these are shipped to your premises with backup telephone support availability.
Please note some ISP's (Internet Service Providers) and installed Adsl routers are just not suitable and may need to be changed before installation can take place.
As an optional extra we highly recommend our maintenance package which covers all your base equipment costs in the event of failure. After your call has been received and from the point your call is assigned to an engineer we aim to close that call within a 48 hour window not including weekends or public holidays.
