For the most part this introduction covers some three basic elements that make up the Drupal Content Management System, that of "Content Management", "User Management" and "Site Building" other aspects are addressed but covered in greater detail in the more advanced courses.

Who is this course aimed at?
This is an Introductory course so almost anyone one who has never used Drupal or has only limited knowledge of Drupal could benefit from knowing the basics of this powerful Web Content Management System. This course is about getting you started and productive with as little fuss as possible once Drupal is installed.
Course Prerequisites
All students must be eager to learn, and be familiar with basic file management operation tasks and file structure, they need to be able to demonstrate some administrative tasks from the start. This is the Introduction to Drupal version 6 and therefore assumes no prior knowledge of Drupal or any other Content Management System.

Course Objectives
By the end of this course the student will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Drupal the Content Management System. The Student will have completed exercises aimed at the User Management, Content Management and Site Building and paves the way for a follow up Intermediary Course which cover more advanced topics.
Certification
Drupal do not offer (as far as we are aware) a program of Certification for the Drupal CMS but Techsys would welcome such examinations in the future.
